Village Ordinance Update Project
In 2020, the Villages of Centerburg, Fredericktown, and Gambier, Ohio, adopted separate strategic plans to help establish a vision for each of the village’s future. In 2021, with assistance from the Knox County Area Development Foundation and Compass Point Planning, and funding by the Knox Foundation, these three villages are moving forward with a review and update of their zoning ordinances as a step toward implementing the goals of those strategic plans. Gambier Village Council met May 1, 2023, for the third and final reading of the zoning code. Click the link below for the document as finalized in this meeting and effective June 1,2023. Reminder: there will be changes in some Zoning Applications, please check with the Administrator's office when filing, additional information may be required.
